Omnisend Pricing
Omnisend gives ecommerce brands email, SMS and push in a simpler pricing structure than some higher-profile competitors. You can start free for 250 contacts, then move to Standard at $16 or Pro at $59 a month. SMS changed in May 2026, and it now decides which plan you need.

Pricing Analysis
Omnisend uses contact-based pricing, but the product is multichannel ecommerce marketing rather than plain email. Standard at $16/month covers email and web push for 500 contacts with 6,000 emails a month (12 times your contact count); Pro at $59/month removes the send cap. Compared with Klaviyo the entry price is lower, and Omnisend often sits in a useful middle: more commerce-native than MailerLite, cheaper and simpler than enterprise ecommerce stacks.
Billing counts subscribers plus contacts who received automated messages. Unsubscribed contacts are not billed.
The May 2026 SMS Change
On May 4, 2026 Omnisend changed how SMS is sold:
- Standard can no longer buy SMS. New Standard subscribers cannot purchase SMS credits or a credits subscription. If SMS is part of your plan, you need Pro.
- Pro no longer bundles SMS credits for new subscribers. Pro used to include SMS credits worth the subscription price each month. New Pro subscribers pay for SMS as a per-message add-on on top of the plan.
- Existing customers keep their old terms. Standard customers from before May 4 can still buy SMS credits, and Pro customers from before that date keep their included credits while they stay on the plan.
For an SMS-heavy store, the Pro price is now only the email part of the bill. When you compare Omnisend with Klaviyo, add your expected SMS volume to both sides. For a store that sends little SMS, the unbundled model is fairer: you no longer pay for credits you don’t use.
Who Omnisend’s Pricing Suits
Most stores that run on email (welcome flows, abandoned carts, campaigns) will settle on Standard. Pro makes sense once you need unlimited sends, SMS, or its reporting. The free plan is enough to check that your Shopify or WooCommerce data syncs properly before you pay.
